Programs

Programs

Hiding In Plain Sight provides a range of resources including workshops and discussions, therapeutic art-making, personal coaching, and informational materials designed to educate the public and empower people who, for whatever reason, are not getting care for their eating disorder or are at risk of developing an eating disorder.

Our ultimate mission is to educate, advocate, and raise awareness about the many faces of eating disorders and how to recognize the symptoms, the connection with body image, and the role society and the media play while providing a safe space filled with kindred spirits ready to provide encouragement and support.

RESET

This program is a Body Positive Workshop that will combat body image issues. The program will also be utilized as a tool for eating disorder prevention and screening. The program will be facilitated by trained volunteers, who will use their knowledge to be able to share with their community, friends, and families in future workshops, programs, and events. It is all in the service of helping the community.

CREATIVE

CARE SUPPORT

This program will utilize arts and crafts activities as a way to support the mental wellbeing of those struggling with eating disorders. Art is very therapeutic, thus will be used to create empowering, peaceful, and motivating experiences.

PERSONAL

COACHING

Those suffering with eating disorders or body image issues will be able to connect with a personal coach to support them through the healing and recovery process.
